Indications for Radiation Therapy

Tumors that are often treated successfully with radiation therapy(RT) are oral tumors, brain tumors, nasal tumors and skin tumors. Tumors involving internal organs such as the spleen, liver, intestines and lymph nodes are often not treated with RT.
